For February, I'm delineating a wee bit from the end goal. I was asked several months ago to teach a group of classes in conjunction with the Joslyn Art Museum's exhibit, "To Live Forever: Egyptian Treasures from the Brooklyn Museum." I took inspiration from the exhibit and the classes I designed specifically for the exhibit.

The dress is ladder stitch and net stitch using 3mm bugles and size 15 seed beads. I also used brass charms, chains, and findings, ball end pins, and large brass jump rings combined with the bugles and seed beads to make the accessories. I made a very simple sheath dress in black using a pre-made dress as a pattern. This month's model had a quick haircut, gently ratted and sprayed for that ever-in-fashion tousled look.
